PUFFING BILLY, BLUE DANDENONG RANGES, FERGUSSONS WINERY & HEALESVILLE WILDLIFE SANCTUARY TOUR (PB) - 8 hrs

Enjoy a steam train ride on Puffing Billy – Australia’s favourite steam train and one of the finest preserved steam railways in the world.  Puffing Billy travels through the forests and fern gullies of the magnificent Dandenong Ranges.  We then journey through the rest of the Blue Dandenong Ranges National Park featuring tall mountain ash forests.  We stop for a delightful lunch and wine-tasting at Fergussons Winery in the lush Yarra Valley, and after lunch, we visit and get up close and personal to some amazing animals at Healesville Sanctuary.

On this tour we take you first on a historic steam train ride – Puffing Billy, a major tourist attraction where your friends and family can enjoy the panoramic views which pass by your carriage window as the railway travels through the forests of the magnificent Dandenong Ranges to Menzies Creek.

We then take a trip through the tall mountain ash forests and fern gullies of the Blue Dandenong Ranges, one of the most popular national parks in the Melbourne area.

Visit Fergussons Winery and enjoy a superb lunch with a glass of wine in the lush Yarra Valley wine district, and later sample some stunning local wines.

After lunch, we take you to Healesville WildLife Sanctuary when you can view close-up Australia’s most unusual animals (koalas, kangaroos, wombats and many others), birds, and reptiles. You will enjoy an informative ranger-guided tour and pleasant afternoon.
